As you can see by Oprah's picture, she carried "no frills". A beautifully plain (it's now PC to call her "classic") girl, she had some wonderful successes in the ring. One of the most memorable was Grand Sweepstakes during the 1991 ABC Regional. But, to accompany her plainness was also a relucatance to show. Since she did not enjoy the show ring, we chose to breed her rather than continue campaigning for her Championship. Ophrah proved her real destiny was in the whelping box. From her very first litter, sired by Ch Rosend's Bo Diddley SOM, she produced 3 American champions and 1 Dam of Merit. A repeated breeding produced 2 more Champions and allowed Oprah to enter the rather exclusive club with the title ABC Dam of Merit.
